Welcome to the Neponset Valley - the 12 suburbs southwest of Boston near the beautiful Neponset River. We are the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce. Since 1894, we have been the voice of business in this area.

Small businesses, large multinational corporations, and everything in between. For-profit businesses and not-for-profits. Service businesses, retailers, manufacturers. Young start-ups, multi-generational firms and seasoned specialists.

Our mission is to enhance the business, workforce and economic development of the Neponset Valley region. There are many ways to bring that mission to fruition.

Like most Chambers of Commerce, we offer a variety of ways to network and meet other area business people: structured networking lunches, Business After Hours receptions, Speed Networking, meetings and other gatherings.

Additionally, the NVCC is active in economic development, transportation and infrastructure improvements - projects like the Route 128 add-a-lane, the I-95/I-93 interchange, and several large, new shopping centers. With a presence on Beacon Hill and local town governments in this area, the Chamber works diligently to make the region a great place to live, work and play.

And the NVCC presents a wide variety of free or low-cost events, on-going activities, support groups and educational opportunities.

• Our annual Golf Tournament, Flavors of Neponset Valley gourmet gala, Mega-Business Expo with over 150 exhibitors, and other events are among the best in Massachusetts.

• Our seminars feature specialists in marketing, law, human resources, accounting and other disciplines, discussing current business topics and trends.

• Our speaker series and special events present such dignitaries as Governor Deval Patrick, Congressmen Barney Frank and Stephen Lynch, Attorney General Martha Coakley, Tufts Healthcare CEO James Roosevelt, UMass Boston Chancellor Keith Motley, and many others.

• Our committees include areas such as communications, legislation, economic development, and a variety of professional alliances.

• Our REN (Referral Exchange Network) groups provide a structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals.
