It is with great pride and pleasure that we announce our new President/CEO, Tom O'Rourke.

Tom is no stranger to the Neponset Valley, nor to the NVCC. Those who have been Chamber members for a while will remember Tom as NVCC Membership Director from 1992-1996. With three consecutive years in the top ten nationally in membership growth, Tom led the Chamber to the 1995 NAMD National Award for Excellence.

He served for six years as President/CEO of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, for three years as President/CEO of the United Way of Greater Plymouth County, and for five years as President of the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce.

A Norwood resident, Tom fulfills his career-long ambition to return to the NVCC as our leader.

Come meet Tom and welcome him (and his wife, Jeanne, also a former NVCC staffer) at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Route 1 in Norwood. The Open House event on Monday, August 30, begins at 5pm and ends at 7pm, and is hosted and sponsored by the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood.
