The Regional Working Group was formed to focus on issues that cross municipal boundaries. The RWG has identified four key tasks:
- • To advocate for regional transportation improvements in a coordinated fashion
- • To address issues that require inter-jurisdictional approaches, such as protecting regional water supplies.
- • To discuss possible regionalization and cooperation as regards resources and services for the region
- • To initiate a Branding Process for the Neponset Valley.
The RWG is comprised of Town Administrators, Planners, Economic Development Directors, County officials and other local elected officials committed to fostering positive and sustainable growth for the Neponset Valley and the group meets with the President of the Chamber on a monthly basis at the Chamber office.
