From the President
- Chamber Updates and Economic
Development
Spring brings forth new growth
and energy and that is especially true at the Chamber.
Please note that our annual Membership
Campaign will be taking place during the month of
June this year. The more members who participate, the
more successful the campaign. Please consider helping us
grow - with each new member that you refer to us comes
$25 Chamber Dollars to you! If the Chamber
has helped your business to grow, reach out and share
that message with others and urge them to join
NVCC. Brian
McGillicuddy would be delighted to have you be a part of
the exciting (and FUN) campaign he is planning. Just
give him a call (or a referral) at 781-769-1126 x
205.
And, speaking of the energy and activity
of spring - I am proud to report to you some of the many
and varied offerings of the Chamber in the upcoming
months: from social to educational to business
development - Mark your calendars - you won't want to
miss these events!
Click this link (and check out www.nvcc.com) to find
more information regarding the Spring Speakers
Series, special free educational seminars and the Golf

MemberSHIP
Cruise
Campaign |
The 2008 "MemberSHIP Cruise"
Campaign will be held during the month of
June.
All hands on deck for the NVCC's annual
membership campaign. This year's drive, the "MemberSHIP
Cruise" will run from June 1-30 highlighted by a 3 day
"Cruise-a-thon" to be held on June 17, 18, & 19.
This year's campaign will be anchored by Cruise
Ship Captains Kevin Hallinan of Winning,
Inc. and Brian McGillicuddy of the
NVCC. Also accepting key berth assignments as Cruise
Directors are: Al DeNapoli of
Tarlow,
Breed, Hart & Rogers, PC; Nancy Wluka of Wluka Real
Estate Corp; and John Gorham of The
Bulfinch Group.
We
need your help! We are looking for sea worthy "First
Mates" to recruit and lead a 5 member crew of volunteers
to moor a 3 hour phone shift during the "Cruise-a-thon".
There will be four shifts from which to choose:
9:00am-12pm on June 17th, 18th,
19th or 1:00pm-4:00pm on June
18th.
There will be 6 teams of 5 crewmembers each for
every shift. A "First Mate" team leader may pull double
duty and also participate as a crewmember. Top
performing teams and individuals will win cash prizes
and other enticements, not only during the
"Cruise-a-thon", but also all through the month long
"MemberSHIP Cruise". There will also be special
"MemberSHIP Cruise" incentives offered to member
prospects that choose to come on board during
June.
We will be pulling up all anchors and setting all
sails. You
will be provided with food, training, leads, scripts,
supporting documentation, oceans of encouragement, and
as much fun as you can soak up. So, pack up the sea bag
with your cell phone, laptop, your personal lead list,
and beach attire and prepare to embark upon the
"MemberSHIP Cruise".
If you have been meaning to become more active in
the NVCC, this will be a terrific way to connect with
fellow members. You might even pick up a new client or
two for yourself in the process. To volunteer or obtain
more information contact Ship Captain Brian McGillicuddy
at 781-769-1126 or brian@nvcc.com. |

Juice Plus+
104 Magnolia Drive
Westwood, MA 02048

marthadesisto@comcast.net
www.juiceplusandhealth.com
The most important roles in my life have been
that of Mom and Grandma and now that of health educator.
For the past 15 years I have been promoting health by
sharing information about health and Juice Plus+. When I
first learned about it, Juice Plus+ made so much sense to me. I knew I didn't eat
enough fruits and vegetables and certainly my family
didn't either. I thought, "Wow!" how great to be able to
get the nutrition from apples, oranges,
cranberries, papaya, peaches, pineapple, acerola
cherries, kale, parsley, beets, parsley, carrots,
cabbage, spinach, and eight different berries in easy to
take capsules.
I immediately decided to take Juice Plus+
and invited
my mother, daughter, and sister to join me. After a few
months, we all experienced the benefits of an improved
diet. We had more energy and
began exercising more and feeling better. It is a great
feeling to know that we can have all the benefits of
those nutrient dense fruits and vegetables every day.
We all know it's important to eat fruits
and vegetables. Each individual fruit or vegetable is so
powerful separately but when consumed together their
effects are maximized. . Cancer cells are held at bay,
the inflammation related to heart disease reduced and
the likelihood of many other diseases
decreased.
